Hi
Thank you for letting me join this wonderful forum I need all the help with this new local council housing benefit changing.
I’m my sisters appointee but I’m so lost .
My sister got a letter saying to continue to get housing benefit she has to get UC .
I filled it all in and just got all of the information.
It says what UC housing benefit will be and it will be paid monthly. It said it would leave £60 which will go into her bank but doesn’t say when the UC housing benefit will go into I’m so worried I’m not sleeping because I don’t want to full behind in my rent as my landlord is terrible.
i know I have to make up the rest of the rent
I got a letter from the council housing saying my benefit ended in January 25 and I have to pay £300 back because my benefit had to change to UC .
Sorry if this is not clear as my head is all over the place.
I don’t understand where this UC housing benefit goes I think I have to send it to my landlord. As I said UC only said £60 will go into her bank so as I said where would the new Us housing go .
Thanks

Under UC Housing Benefit is called Housing Element.
It sounds like the first payment statement been issued?
Are you able to post a screenshot (with personal information blanked out)?
