Disability self employment migrated to UC

My son has enhanced ADP (formerly PIP) he has cerebral palsy and is limited in how much he can do. He got the severe disability element of Working Tax and has now migrated to UC. They asked him to ask the doctor for info for the jobcentre work coach but he got angry and refused and wanted to talk to the work coach. He said that's not how it works. My son told the work coach who said they'd email my son some info on what to say to the doctor. Work coach says that my son is entitled to extra money due to his disability and limited amount of work he does but they seem confused and so are we. Can someone help with what they might be talking about? We'd really appreciate it as it's stressing him out

As far as I know, migrating from disabled working tax credits give no automatic entitlement to LCW or LCWRA under UC.
He would need to go through the Work Capability Assessment process.
Unfortunately his ADP has no bearing on the UC WCA process.
