I finally had my work capability assessment and I have been awarded LCWRA. I have had so many problems since I applied and it has been going on since September 2023 I have always sent in sick notes since than . I was told it would be backdated except for first 3 months . I’m due to receive my first payment 26th . Nothing in statement how backpay is paid does anyone know

Hi,

Congrats on the LCWRA award. Backpay is calculated and paid separately. It can take a few weeks for them to get that sorted but you should receive a letter about it soon.

thank you. With all the problems with them losing forms I did not know if I was supposed to chase it as I dread phoning them
