in Start here and say hello!

Hi Everyone, I've joined in the hope I'll feel less alone - I am a disabled carer - I became sick with long COVID in 2020 - my son is life limited he has a rare degenerative brain condition which is linked to MnD - he's lost his mobility, he's got dementia, slow processing speed, he has absence seizures, narcolepsy he's losing his speech and his sight it will eventually take everything from him. I'm so so worried about what these cuts are going to mean for us and how we will cope. My mental health is at an all fine low

    Anna. My name is David and i live in london. I just joined this site and I totally understand your situation. You aren't alone, I'd like to be friends with you. I'm 31 , live with my mother and Ive had aspergers for my whole life. It hasnt affected my social life, but since I broke up with my girlfriend , three years ago, I have not been going out or anything, I have anxiety and depression, and i take meds for both. I thought maybe we could help each other

    Hi David,

    I'm awaiting testing for autism/ADHD when my youngest was diagnosed I read up and cried because all of a sudden my own life made sense!!! I took have anxiety and depression - nice to meet you and thank you for being so kind it'll be lovely to get to know you - having friends who understand how my head feels is so important

    Ur so welcome Anna, I cant sleep at the moment because My ESA hasnt come in! It usually comes in at midnight and I have no money and I am so stressed about it I need it, I have no idea what is going on

    I just found this website because I had no one to turn to, my moum is sleeping and i am panicking so much I get chest pains

    It sounds like you're dealing with a lot and it is a very worrying and stressful time for a lot of disabled people as well as their families so it is completelty understandable why you're feeling the way you do.
