The worship of money and power is always followed by dodgy politics, eugenics and highly divisive and inflammatory rhetoric. Useless eaters sounds like something Hitler or Stalin would have glibly said.

I will clarify that Stalin bought tractor factories in the USA and introduced new technologies of agriculture and livestock breeding and was able to stop the periodic famine that had been in the Russian Empire for many centuries in 20 years. And he converted the imperial palaces into sanatoriums for the treatment of the disabled, among others. Plus on the northern Caucasian coast of the Black Sea, malarial swamps were removed and the coast was turned into resorts.
Lenin was disabled at the end of his life, Stalin was disabled almost all his life.

Yes, he did some good things certainly, but they were outweighed by the dreadful things he did. Hitler tripled the old age pension in Germany too.
The problem isn't one of politics, or whether the person in power is black, white, rich, poor, disabled, a noble or a serf, the problem is power concentrated in one individual and then what they do with that power. Power in one individual very rarely if ever ends well. I'm no right winger, I lean to the left but no system or political ideology is perfect and everyone must have checks and balances. Present day capitalism, you might call it hypercapitalism or even more extremely economic fascism is destroying the social, political and economic fabric of society.

All this does not change the fact that in Eastern European and Central Asian cultures there are no facts of targeted discrimination and destruction of disabled people. However, the fact is that due to general poverty, disabled people are not helped as much as possible.

If you live in many parts of the world and are poor, you are lucky to eat once a day regardless.

Anyone who's surprised that the perpetrator of many other crimes obviously hasn't been paying attention to the criminal's character.
That and his mocking of a disabled reporter years ago.
