I am 47 years old and have been working in social care for the past 20 years or so. I have Rheumatoid arthritis, was diagnosed 12 years ago. Worst side effect, inflammation and fatigue. I can no longer cope at my workplace and am done with the type of work I do. I love to swim, to get some exercise and I love travel and nature if I can manage it. I am the kind of person that is terrible at self care and always giving to others. I am worried financially as I have no savings, and live in a 2 bed house run by housing association for last 15 years. My daughter is grown, married and I live alone. My home has been adapted for me now by OT. But was not always the case. Been on benefits in past when daughter was little and worked hard to get out of it, now my body has had enough and can't do it anymore.
