Question about LCWRA Payday.

in Universal Credit (UC)

I was told i was accepted for LCWRA on April 17th and my usual payday is the 6th of each month.

I was wondering if someone could do the calculations as i am confused.

If my first fit note was on January 17th when would i receive the LCWRA?

And the same question but if the first fit note was march 28th?

    Hi,

    As you are paid on the 6th, your assessment periods must be 30th to 29th of each month.

    Fit note Jan 17

    1st wait period - Jan 30 - Feb 29

    2nd wait period Feb 30 - Mar 29

    3rd wait period Mar 30 - Apr 29

    LCWRA included Apr 30 - May 29

    LCWRA payment June 6th

    (PS - Feb 30th obviously doesn't exist, but still works for this purpose.)

    If the first fit note wasn't until March 28th then LCWRA won't be paid until August 6th.

    Previous thread, I didn't feel confident enough to advise beyond asking UC about their waiting period, as I've seen UC treat breaks in Fit Notes differently even against the rules at times.
