Hi @TheGlen4 Welcome to the Community. I hope you enjoy your time on the forum. Any questions just ask.
Each Health Authority have their own waiting lists so you would have to ask how long it is likely to be before you would be able to have surgery. I really hope you do not have to wait to much longer.
Have a look around and join in when you are ready.
Take care.

Hello @TheGlen4, welcome to the community!
I'm afraid I don't have any advice to add about your knee surgery but I'm sure some of our community might be able to offer their experiences soon. Fingers crossed the steroid injection helps get things more comfortable while you wait ☺️

Hi Bridget and welcome!
I'm in the North West and chose to go out of area for medical care last year after waiting 2 years for a second opinion (not orthopaedics). I don't know if you have that option in the South West. It proved worthwhile for me as I had several tests in Nuclear Medicine to move things forward and got diagnoses.
I hope your steroid injection brings much needed relief and take care 😊.
