Universal Credit Migration

I have recently received notice of my first payment after UC Migration.
It is calculated as follows
Standard Allowance £400.14 (correct)
Housing Element £382.52
Transitional Protection £228.10
Rent paid directly to landlord minus £382.52
Total monthly payment £614.
I was on income related ESA before and got £244.65 per week in the support group including Severe Disability Premium.
Am I right in saying that they have missed the LCWA element off my payment completely? It certainly looks like it and on their figures I would be something like £400 worse off

Yes they've missed off the LCWRA element, I've seen this happen quite a few times lately.
You can add a Journal note (using the payment option) to let them know your statement is incorrect).

Thank you.

I left a note in the journal but no response yet so I rang them. Their answer is they're waiting for ESA to confirm that I was on the support group before they add LCWRA to my claim
This is ridiculous as had I known I would have asked for some sort of advance payment.
Now I am going to be out of pocket until one arm of DWP tells something to another arm of DWP.
Just another stressful incident affecting my mental health.

Had it up to here. Do they not realize I have mental health problems which are only going to get worse because of this.

How long is this likely to take? Does anyone know?

Hiya I personally can't comment on how long it would take. However perhaps if you can give ESA a call and tell them you have spoken to universal credit about this they may try to help

Hi Welshy,
Exactly the same thing happened to me - got my first statement on Friday after waiting 5 weeks and they missed off my LWCRA + TP and also deducted money from my wages - 55p for every £1 (was doing permitted work on ESA and have a work allowance now on UC because of my LWCRA, I hadn't gone over that allowance fyi, but they didnt acknowledge it because they missed off the LWCRA element) so they were going to pay me £0 on Thursday.
I wrote several notes on my journal, most of which were dismissed or answered poorly. So I rang UC to speak to an actual human being who said they were waiting for the info from ESA. I then spent 2 hours on hold to ESA who blamed UC. Spoke to UC again who again blamed ESA and said they would pass it over as urgent but couldn't tell me how long itd be due to "backlogs with ESA" I even put a complaint into DWP and emailed my local MP as I was getting absolutely no help from UC. They just kept blaming ESA.
Got an updated correct statement today confirming they owe me money. So in total it took about 2-3 working days. I highly suggest emailing your local MP anyway, as they need to be aware of the issues we're facing migrating over.
Like you I have mental health problems and I was an anxious wreck all weekend (and also really bloody angry that they hadn't sorted it out in 5 weeks) and found UC to be extremely unhelpful. I think the backlogs are actually with them and not ESA. My local MP did reply saying he'd contacted them and was waiting for a response. Whether it was that which gave them a nudge I don't know but I really hope they get it sorted asap for you xx

Not sure now how this is ever going to be resolved
Tried ringing ESA but impossible to get through.
Rang UC again and was told that "the system hasn't caught up." Whatever that means.
However he agreed to escalate my query and later put an entry in my Journal that a Case Manager would respond by 6pm today. Nothing happened.
I can't get any further with this it seems. Has anyone any ideas what I should do next?

I would suggest contacting your MP.
