Hi. My name is Anna and I'm 59. I've suffered from Borderline personality disorder (BPD) also known as EUPD for years. In 2019 I started with symptoms of severe lumbar spinal stenosis although I didn't find out for almost a year. An MRI actually showed spinal stenosis, a herniated disc and osteoarthritis of the L5,4,3 facet joints. My life has completely changed and I've had to adapt and accept that there is so much I'm no longer able to do. I'm in pain 24/7 despite high doses of pain meds and it's often excruciating which stops me being able to sit, stand etc and all I'm able to do is lay on my bed. I can't walk far even with crutches. I had an operation about 2/3 years ago but it failed after several months. An MRI in Dec of last year showed another herniated disc and scar tissue around the area they operated on and nerve compression at the same level as it was pre-op. I was diagnosed last year with fibromyalgia so I'm always extremely fatigued and often forget the gist of a conversation mid sentence 😆 I didn't expect my life to turn out like this but this is me. Anyway it's nearly 1 am and every bit of my body is hurting at the moment so I'm going to try and get comfortable and get some sleep
