anyone know what the numbers are with Tories, Lib Dem and Labours 50 or so rebels? Do they still have enough to get it through?

Of course you can have a politician who doesn’t have a clue what they’re doing , just look at reeves .

There's going to be a huge increase in the claims of adults currently still on DLA, as well as those on LCWRA but not PIP. Are they prepared for this?

that’s what I was wondering. I think if past calculations were correct with Tory’s Lib Dem’s and independents voting against we need about 83 labour voting against. If I’m wrong someone please correct me. Whatever the number I would imagine starmers pooping himself again

just look at the majority of the labour party !
wes streeting 😂

They'll probably welcome it as an excuse to really crunch down harder on the assessment reforms and descriptors that will apply to everyone. No 4 point rule, but getting any points at all may become almost impossible for some existing claimants .

Starmer 😂

Yes 83 is the magic number if all the opposition votes against. I don't think there's any hope that 83 Labour MP's will vote to inflict such a humiliating defeat on their own government; not now they have some concessions to cling to justify their votes in favour.

I predict the system will get clogged up with MR/appeals.

The system is already clogged up. I dread to think how much worse it will get.

Reform voting for no doubt

The dwp said she’s wrong . It won’t affect existing claimants

Yes re-clarified later after she goofed up during questions. I was just pointing out all her answers were not clear in the debate. Not surprising really, when you consider what a ruddy mess this has turned into. Not even the Minister can stay on top of the myriad of different proposals and concessions because it's so complicated.

They might follow the Tories in opposing because the cuts are nowhere steep enough.

I heard the shadow minister for work and pensions Danny Kruger this morning say they wanted it to cut down on MH with young people. Said the increase is 50% young with MH or something like that . He said instead Labour are hitting older people with physical conditions who Tory’s feel sorry for . I think that’s who it was . But I thought then I bet they vote against.
