Yes re-clarified later after she goofed up during questions. I was just pointing out all her answers were not clear in the debate. Not surprising really, when you consider what a ruddy mess this has turned into. Not even the Minister can stay on top of the myriad of different proposals and concessions because it's so complicated.

I heard the shadow minister for work and pensions Danny Kruger this morning say they wanted it to cut down on MH with young people. Said the increase is 50% young with MH or something like that . He said instead Labour are hitting older people with physical conditions who Tory’s feel sorry for . I think that’s who it was . But I thought then I bet they vote against.

8 MP's from Northern Ireland have confirmed they are voting 'No' tomorrow. Claire Hanna, Sorcha Eastwood, Robin Swann, Jim Shannon, Sammy Wilson, Alex Easton, Colum Eastwood, Jim Allister.

Wouldn't it be great if they were in agreement like this all the time. We would be in a better place.😉

is there going to be a three tier system then once the new pip assessment comes along?

Will existing PIP claimants go through this new assessment? And if so, will they be under the same rules as claimants from 2027?

Cause existing claimants don’t go by the 4 point rule, and it says on the new document:

• All existing PIP recipients will remain on the current system and the proposed changes to eligibility as part of the bill will only apply to new claims from November 2026.

With no clarification on LCWRA at all, I'm still at a loss as to whether it's best to apply for PIP now or just wait and see what happens. This is chaos.

I'd just apply for it now I don't there'd be anything to lose, it's what I'm going to do.

The destination they're moving towards clearly shows you'll be better protected on PIP, if you qualify. I would arrange an interview at your local Citizens Advice Bureau, and make clear it's about PIP/benefits. They usually have an expert who can advise you and help you prepare a thoroughly detailed application.
