Hi, my name is lellyowl!

Good morning all!
I am a retired nurse, trained at The Southern Group of Hospitals in Edinburgh, Scotland. I was fortunate to be one of the many international students from all over the world to train as nurses, this was is 1965! I gained my degree and never looked back. It opened so many opportunities for me. I continued in my profession till I finally had to retire as my partner became ill and now needs care at home.
We are fortunate to have retired to Spain before Brexit and not having to jump through the hoops. We live a quiet life in a lovely white village in Ubrique, where the mountain views surround us.
We had 3 rescue cats, one which recently decided to go walkabout! Other than that, we are grateful to live out our retirement peacefully and accept the changes that come with health ussues and the benefits that are available. Every little helps! Best to all
f you and many thanks for this platform and the opportunity to voice our opinions!
