@secretsquirrel1 Rachael Maskell is raising the fluctuating issue now in Parliament and her proposed amendment. Looks as though as it stands, people would potentially be returning on to the lower amount. Doesn't specify SCC/non-SCC, she's pushing for all to be protected.

Thank you for the update. I really hope fluctuating conditions get included more for not having constant assessments than anything else 🤞

@secretsquirrel1 Kirsty Blackman is addressing it now too. She's just said DWP press releases say fluctuating will be covered in SCC. Bill says has to be constant and so she's requesting further clarification from the minister. She's going in to more detail but I'm struggling to keep up typing it all 😅 but the fact that they're raising this can only be a good thing. Light is being shone on it quite a bit today.

Hopefully people in our position
ESA / lcwra or just lcwra will maybe even get away with not being reassessed at all untill 2029 .... Although I'm expecting one

Thank you so much . This could help so many of us with fluctuating conditions 🙏🤞

Sorry, me again @secretsquirrel1. Feel a bit like a parliament commentator this afternoon 😅
Timms has responded to this challenge, and referenced it'll be based on the descriptors and how that person is doing at the time as far as I could tell. Kirsty Blackman has then called on Charities etc to hold him accountable to those words in the future when it comes to legal action on behalf of disabled people if ever required. Hope I've explained that ok 🙈

No thank you for the updates as I haven’t seen anything on the guardian or sky news.
I’m trying to understand what Timms means. Is it you have to fit the wca descriptor plus lifelong according to nhs etc but fluctuating is included if your condition is bad enough at that time ? So it doesn’t have to be constant ?0 -
I think I'm going to have to re-watch his comments later to try to digest further as it was a very swift response. (I can't look back at the moment as watching live).
There are a lot of powerful and passionate arguments against this bill being passed again today which is good to see. 💜

Why so few MP's interested in this ! The place should be jam packed, pardon my French but its bloody disgusting how few are there 😡

I’m a little confused, is the disability amount of LCWRA going to stay the same for people already in receipt of it, but be different for new claimants, or it’s being cut for everyone? Cut completely? Can someone summarise for me as I can’t scroll for too long reading as it messes with my eye?

Which is disgusting. They should be there for such an important debate. Just shows how little they think of us.

Probably all having a blooming picnic on the lawn ugh 😤 shocking, so little interest in such a extremely important bill, best of it is, they are all getting paid !!! I don't believe a word re NHS not a word.

Refuse to believe a word Timms utters.

I think some of the MPs need new watches. They can't tell when they've been going on for more than 4 minutes.
