Heya @mavora PIP isn't awarded based on any diagnosis, it's awarded based on how a persons disability affects them on a daily basis. So the only way to find out is for your daughter to apply. Though I'd suggest reading through the PIP descriptors first, as the process can be a bit mentally draining.
We've got more information about PIP and how to apply here.0 -
Hello @mavora Your daughter is 15 so it would be DLA you'd apply for unless you prefer to wait until she's sweet sixteen. DLA, like PIP, is not based on diagnosis. You have to demonstrate how your condition affects you and whether the support a minor needs is in excess of an unimpaired child of the same age:

HI @mavora and a warm welcome to the community

Thank you so much you’re a god send already. I will let you know how it goes. My daughter seems to think that she gets the money in her bank is this correct? Not that I want her money but my pip is mostly spent on her having as much as a normal life as I can give her

DLA would go to you.
Over 16 PIP would go to her, unless you were set up as her appointee.

thank you I just hope she gets what she wants and stop abusing me! Then I might be able to spend my pip on things that I need for mobility. The trouble is when your left with uc you don’t get enough money to carry through for the whole month so my pip goes into the house! I just need some aids in my house and I don’t drive so money goes on taxis for all the doctors and hospital appointments etc etc. I’m desperate to go back to work my profession is a sous chef and I miss it so so much but I’m not going to be able to go back to it. Anyway thank you for your advice it’s nice to actually have a conversation with people

Bless you. Your daughter has no right to abuse you financially or in any other way. You ought to let your GP know. Perhaps when her DLA hits your bank account you can treat her to appropriate therapy.

omg I’m new to this and have just written a long message which doesn’t seem to have sent fgs! Does the adult get the money until she’s 16? As I know she won’t spend it wisely or shall I just put some into her trust fund?? I really don’t need her bullying me more than she already does x

DLA would be paid to you for her benefit. You don't need to give her a penny. You can pay for her disability needs directly.
Bear in mind your daughter might not be awarded DLA. Her diagnosis alone is not enough. Perhaps you ought to see your GP together before making a claim. Your daughter seems to have more issues than ADHD.
If she claims PIP at 16, the benefit would be paid to her. Again, there's a possibility that she might not qualify.

thank you so much for your advice it’s very helpful. I can’t believe we now have to wait 3 to 6 months for medication I’ve been informed by Psicon today.

Having a diagnosis of ADHD alone isn't enough for PIP/DLA, it depends on how the condition affects you on a daily basis.
It might be worth going through the descriptors and see if she qualify's or not first before applying. PIP/DLA is a very stressful and time consuming process.
