Hi, my name is Bundubele!
Hi,
I am a paranoid schizophenic and have been since the age of 21. I also have asthmatic lungs and take other medication. I work part-time and use public transport for getting to and from work. I depend on my disability element to top up UC but like, I'm sure, many others, this much needed support is being threatened. I Have been homeless twice and in hospital for a total of 10 months for mental illness over the years. I have donated my body to science when I die to help pay the cost of this. This thereatened withdrawl of financial support is catastrophic and I feel I am being penalised for managing within the system. That I am prudent with the money I am given to live on is of no consequence: - It seems it is simply not politically correct to live under my circumstances despite being a conscientious self-employed worker and fulfilling my obligations.

Hey there @Bundubele and a warm welcome to teh community.
Thanks for giving us a bit of backstory. I agree it's a very worrying time for many of us. But the fight isn't over yet, so please try not to worry too much.0 -
Welcome to the community!
I try to live life a day at a time these days and avoid the news topics on benefits and cuts etc because all it does is make me anxious and more poorly. Head in the sand I guess,.I hope you continue to get the financial support needed and also the mental support which i know is very lacking in this country <3
