Hi, my name is Lisawright!

hi all I’m new here as I was looking for advise and come across this web site, I myself claim pip an housing benefit , my 21 yr old high functioning autistic son who lives with me also gets pip , he could not manage collage so now needs to try to find a part time job ( not sure what or how to help him with that with the struggles he faces) but in the meantime will I have make up rest of rent or council tax as he is 21 and lives with me ? Thank you in advance

If you get Daily Living PIP then your Housing Benefit won't have a non dependant deduction. So it will remain unaffected.
Council Tax Reduction is decided on at a local level, so we can't advise on individual cases from here.
