Hi you had what's known as a paper based assessment. Those require minimal or even no further input from the claimant.

But I'm glad I don't have to go for an assement as it was so horrible

Hi I have just had my pip award letter nothing will change I will carry on receiving the enhanced rate of living allowance and the enhanced rate of mobility next review in 2028 . But then I will be 67 so I don't know if I can carry on getting pip.
When the letter arrived I was so nervous of opening it I was shaking. But it was good news I'm still shaking now
Takecare every one

Ah that's some good news @sallie2326, hopefully it feels like a bit of weight has been lifted now you've received the letter. How are you feeling?
Thank you for the update😊0 -
Hi Mary
I just so relieved still bit shakey ,. I'm just glad I didn't have to go through an assessment as last time it was so humiliating, my conditions will never improve .First time I applied for pip 2016 I got the basic rate as my conditions had not taken a hold like they have now. Thankyou for asking and takecare x
