Participants wanted: can you help us tackle online ableism?

Hello!
My name is Sarah Hill and I am a disabled researcher based at Newcastle University. I am working on a project exploring disabled people’s experiences of ableism online. The research has been approved by the Humanities and Social Sciences Ethics Committee.
The aim of this research is to find out more about disabled people’s experiences of ableism online, and how our experiences are shaped by our intersecting identities, as well as the platforms themselves. The research gathered from this pilot study will help to inform future research that aims to contribute to improving online safety for disabled people. Disabled people are often overlooked in research into online experiences and risks; in part because ableism is less well understood.
What does taking part involve?
If you are interested in taking part, I would like to interview you about your opinions and experiences. The interview will either take place via video/ audio call or via email, depending on what you prefer. You will receive a £40 voucher for taking part in this research.
How can I find out more?
If you would like to take part in the project or want to find out more, please contact:
Thank you for your time 🙂

I'd be quite interested in doing this. Would the email option be a "live" back-and-forward conversation or would all the questions be sent at once to be answered to (in own time) and sent back all at once?
I'd understand if it was the former as I guess that's the point of an interview…but I'd be interested in answering some questions by email even if it'd only be partly useful, and not worrying about the voucher

Hello, thank you for your interest. Yes, I could send you the questions via email for you to fill in as much as you want in your own time and then send back to me. I am happy to use whichever format you prefer.
If you are interested, please drop me an email sarah.hill@newcastle.ac.uk and I can send you the information sheet and consent form. Thanks!1 -
Thanks to 66Mustang's question and Sarah's reply above, I've registered my interest. This study is accessible for me. Certainly, many projects are less accessible so this will be interesting and if it can make a difference for people like me, grrrreat!!
