I have been reading posts regarding Sdp backdated ,i recently received a backdated payment form uc for Edp for 8 years and one of the messages stated i had had a sdp payment with my transitional protection ,i am very thankful for the edp as it came in very handy but on my journal the message seems to say i also had sdp but i never received a payment , would i benefit form asking uc bearing in mind I've had an edp back payment ,about whether i could receive sdp ,im on high rate pip and i get this for sever asthma anxiety, depression and ptsd, back pain, if anyone has any replies as i think if i am entitled to this i would like to claim it alongside edp that i had ,thanks,.

I'm confused by your post.
UC don't pay any disability premiums, so this EDP payment shouldn't have been from them. It should have been from your legacy benefit.
Are you absolutely sure this wasn't about SDP?
EDP is paid automatically and it's usually SDP people have to chase, claim & submit a backdate request.
Any retrospective claim for SDP would need to be done via your legacy benefit. Any award should then see your UC claim updated.
Perhaps a trained benefits advisor with sight of your paperwork can help.
