Hi my daughter has just had to claim UC in her own right as is now 19years so I've now lost child element and disability element..but she claims PIP enhanced in both..she has to goto an interview to discuss her work capability etc she is adhd and has autism sleep disorder eating disorder social anxiety and a whole lot more..she goes nowhere on her own..is she eligible for the disability element on her claim in her own right???

Unfortunately she will need to go through the Work Capability Assessment process to be awarded LCW (no extra money and engagement with a work coach) or LCWRA (extra money and no work commitments).
Within the context of UC, her PIP award doesn't give any disability element.

While awaiting WCA work coaches do have discretion to turn off work commitments, some are better than others.
