A warm welcome to the community from me @Jcreek75 😄

That's a good collection of hobbies! What sort of music and books do you like?

We also have a wonderful CP network here on the community that i'll tag now @SaraC_Scope @Lucy_Scope and @Richard_Scope who offer specialist support and information to people with CP and their families.

Thank you for the warm welcome

I like autobiographies especially music and culture based. True crime and crime fiction by authors like Martina Cole and have recently began reading Lesley pearse as recommended by me mam

Music tastes are very varied, I either like a song or don't but some are my favourites are 60s music especially the Beatles and motown. Northern soul, power ballads and 90s indie music such as oasis, blur and pulp

Irm really looking forward to exploring and joining the discussions

    Thanks again

I've heard some good things about Martina Cole books but I haven't read any yet, do you have a specific recommendation @Jcreek75? I've recently started reading Lisa Jewell and I thought they were good, they're like quite like thrillers, have you read any of those before?

Ahh the classics..Oasis, Blur and Pulp!! It sounds like you have a very diverse music taste which is good because i find you're less likely to get bored if you're into different genres😄

You may like the coffee lounge as this is where members go for some fun and light hearted discussion😊

I would recommend dangerous lady it's her first book and a good starting point and I think 4 of books have been turned into TV adaptions but never seen any of them . No haven't read any Lisa Jewell will put it on my list

And yes I was couple years too young to appreciate britpop first time around but it became my style around age 17/18

Yes definitely stops you getting bored and will check out the coffee lounge

    Thanks
