Hi, my name is korky6634!
Hi All thanks for having me on the site.
Being an army veteran and seeing subjects regarding benefits and pensions.
Beware!!! I took my 12 years worth of forces pension at 56 due to ill health I was recieving PIP at enhanced rate but when I applied for U/credit it took me nearly 5 years to get the sick side of UC that's why I had to take my forces pension early at 56 I sent my pension award letter to u/credit to inform them as did HMRC but on a review of bank statements ect they claim that I didn't inform them about the pension and they are clawing back over £13,000 over payment as my pension is classed as income I went from 400 pound a fortnight to 145 a fortnight.
I couldn't prove that I had informed them grrrr.
Record everything take names the works.
I faught in two armed conflicts for queen n country and this is how you are treated I should get an inflatable dinghy and head for Calais and I'll be in a hotel by next week. Beware
