Home care and late-evening calls

Hello,

Are there any home care agency users out there who have "late" evening visits — i.e. 10:30?

I find it difficult to find a company that will come at a time I feel appropriate for my (middle) age. Anything after 9pm — 8pm with some — seems to be as if they're making a special allowance, and it's really restrictive.

Having recently completed a course with the London School of Journalism, I’m thinking about putting my experiences into a feature to raise awareness, as I can’t be the only one in this situation. On the flip-side, I don’t want the feature to be solely about me — or about me at all, preferably — so I'm seeking other views.

Please keep any replies quite general. Do not include any personal details or company names.

I don’t have any personal experience myself, but this is a really interesting topic and it sounds like there may be a real gap in the system. I hope you’re able to get some helpful responses. We'd love to hear how you get on so please keep us updated.
