Care contribution dispute

Hi all,

I recently had a care assessment with my local social care team (greater london borough), and I have been awarded some hours of care — from a relative

We are currently in the process of working out my expenditures and finding out how much the council might want me to contribute towards my care,

I am feeling a bit stressed and worried as I've heard that they can take the daily living component (standard rate) of PIP and universal credit

I heavily rely on the income I get to cover all my bills and wonder if I can dispute any amount of contribution

So far, it seems like I cannot afford to have any money taken from me

It would put me on the back foot

Is there any way I can dispute my contribution if it is high?
