Journeys for Everyone: Accessibility Summit
on Wednesday 11th February 2026

Audience: TfWM staff, Local Authority Transport Leads, Transport Operators, Disabled People, and Disability Organisations.
To make Journeys for Everyone mean everyone, our transport systems should be accessible, safe, welcoming, reliable, and inclusive. With people looking at this through different lenses, it's important to ensure we want the same thing - for people to get around the region without barriers.
This can be achieved by working together in a solution-focused way. Therefore, we want everyone to:
- Feel equal and valued
- Be heard
- Not feel the need to justify why something has or hasn't happened
This summit will give attendees the opportunity to share experiences and solutions in a safe, supportive space; influence how we connect different modes of transport across the region; and help shape future thinking and practical action for accessible journeys.
