Private Pension and Universal Credit

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has the answer as I seem to be reading conflicting answers.
I currently get universal credit, I have a private pension which I've already had the 25% tax free amount out last year.
I've unfortunately now got a hefty vet bill, Where I need to somehow find just over £2000, So my question is, If I take another lump sum from my pension (enough to cover vet bill) Would this affect my universal credit?
