Less articles on sport. Its way too boring and there is enough coverage else where!1

Every time I open your blog I seem to end up on the pages about disabled sport. Is there a direct route to your current news as regards to 'us'??...that I can load so I don't get the endless sport thing?2

Hi @SilentBill
With the Paralympics approaching I'm afraid Scope will be talking about sport for a while yet!
If you go to the blog homepage you can search for topics that interest you in the search bar in the right hand corner: https://blog.scope.org.uk/
It's also good to check our Facebook and Twitter for up to date news.
In regards to this specific request, we'd like to know how we can improve the online community - these discussion forums, rather than Scope's wider digital presence. Is there anything you'd like to change/ improve?
Thanks for your feedback on the other content, I will feed it back to the team.

Hello Jen, Thanks for the reply. I will proceed to the other area you mentioned. I think Facebook and Twitter are/is for losers so I don't need to go there....0

Hi Jen - I have had some very interesting discussions here
I really liked the "categories" facility to easily navigate to discussions I could take part in. I know the categories are still there, but now there is a lot of scrolling to get to it. Could you possibly move these option e.g the categories, unanswered etc to nearer the top (perhaps in a box in the top right hand corner) only this would make it easier to use.
Hope this is helpful1 -
We can improve our community by first doing little or simple things like proper disposal of garbage, the non-biogradable and biogradable. Also making our front yard or our places clean.2
-
a video tutorial showing and explaining how to navigate around would be really helpful. I get a bit lost these days!

Hi @blueberner69 - lovely ideas but this discussion is about this online community, how easy you find it to navigate, start discussions, get the information you need etc.0
-
I am only learning more about my CP now as you just had to get on with it
so wasn't given any info growing up
as stated I am 52 x1 -
Have you considered adding the option for members to send private messages to each other?3
-
That's sounds a really good idea @Blue Frog1
-
How about a readily available 'UNSUBSCRIBE' button as I wish to do that!0
-
That is actually a very good point. Would prefer to have option to subscribe to threads I want to follow, rather than by default (sorry everyone who just got a notification about this reply this early on a Sunday morning!)0
-
Hi @SilentBill and @Blue Frog, good ideas!
You can edit your preferences here, and decide what you get email notifications for: https://community.scope.org.uk/profile/preferences/ But I see what you mean about having it somewhere more obvious.
Thanks for your feedback - we'll take it all on board!1 -
I have just deleted all my email preferences however I really need the UNSUBSCRIBE button as I don't want to read about too much disability..I am... but I don't want to read about it!!0
-
Hi @SilentBill - if you have unticked all the email boxes then you won't get anymore emails about discussions and posts.
If you get any other marketing emails from Scope there will be an unsubscribe button at the bottom.
