Badges are the little icons that appear on your profile. They are a small way of acknowledging the positive contributions people make to the community - for example when someone makes their first comment or gets lots of "likes".

Hi everyone,
We've uploaded some new badges to the community today!
Today we've introduced some new ones to acknowledge some of the other ways in which people are helping the community to be a supportive and safe place - such as when people report spam, make us laugh or write a guest post.
You can see all the badges we have here:
Let me know if you have any suggestions or questions.

Ooohhhh, It's like being back in the cubs
Is there any chance that in the framework of our wider society that you could do a deal with some coorporations to make some of these badges exchangable for say
Air Miles
Co-op stamps/points
Nectar points etc.
If not. Perhaps they could be redeemable for biscuits?
Just a thought

Thanks all, glad you like them!
@bendigedig Brilliant idea! Perhaps McVitie's would be up for a partnership. Although I'm not sure our new diet and nutrition advisor would approve.

@Alex
It's okay.
Buscuits are just circles of comfort, except when they are Bourbouns, custard creams or those pink wafer things.
Dont worry! If anybody binges on buiscuits, Quinoa is the answer to everything.
Just eat loads of quinoa and everything will be fine.0
