My husband john is disabled with dependence of a wheelchair and myself his wife and carer.
He loves movies and football, he no longer has the confidence to speak to people as he also has speech difficulties. I am trying to get him back into the community and make life as normal as possible for him again

Hi @johnno,
Welcome to Scope's online community! It's great to have you here.
There are plenty of groups which you can get involved with. You can find the full list of categories here, and you may find our carers group of interest.
If you have any questions, please do get in touch!Liam -
Hi @johnno - you might want to contact Level Playing Field who campaign for disabled sports fans and are trying to start a match buddies scheme.
There are lots of ideas for days out - see tip 5 about movies!
