I have a condition called Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis (DISH); which over the last 3 years has taken my life away and having to learn to adapt in a new way of living. I'm in constant pain 24/7 and take many painkillers ( which I hate having to rely on, as have no idea what problems they are causing inside). I've become isolated at home; as leaving the house worries me, cause can't walk far and depend on a walking stick or wheelchair. Hosehold chores are a challenge as my hands and knees are stiff and dont seem to work like they did; and my mind gets easily confused and forgetful.
Simple things like paying for something and trying to work out where to place stick, so can grap after paying without it falling over etc.
Life has chanced in so many ways personally and mentally.
