    Hello and welcome freddyboy

depending on your situation you could be able to claim ESA and PIP

1 )Try putting your details into an online benefits calculator
    2) try taking the self tests at B&W. they have both ESA and PIP available without charge.

Fibro, like other chronic conditions, gets progressively worse in most cases. It depends how bad it is for you as to what benefits you get. It usually isn't automatic.

Because like 1000's of others including myself the other person has most likely been diagnosed. A true disagnosis of fibromyalgia can only be diagnosed by a rheumatologist.

    Hi,
PIP the benefit that's replaced DLA is possible. PIP isn't awarded based on a diagnosis, it's how your conditons affect you daily. Google PIP descriptors and a list of the points scroing will come up. Other benefits will depend totally on your other circumstances.

I got the diagnosis by a consultant three years ago. I still manage to work as I am too scared to apply for benefits.
