Hi guys,
Wondering if anyone on here has a spinal cord injury due to birth.
I have been back and forth meeting different professions to solve the problem I have with my abrnomal gait I was referred to a Neurologist and then had an MRI scan. The mri on the Brian was clear but there was abnormality on my spinal cord. The neurologist a has described this as a scar like damage that has happened from birth. After doing a bit of research I have come across a few different websites describing the symptoms and although none of them stood out, I came across one website stating it is an injury that can be very similar to cerebal palsy cases which explains why it was mentioned.
If anyone has had this diagnosed could you give me a little bit of daily life information and what you do in order to support yourself I would be very greatful.
Emily

Spinal cord injuries aren't understood very well. In fact anything relating to nerve damage suffers as it isn't understood very well even by specialists. I constantly run into issues with doctors about it as I know and understand it far better than they do but am dismissed because I am not qualified.
I hope you find some help here.
