Hello @jacheap. I had to look up cauda equina and it seems to me that it must be very painful, debilitating and potentially embarrassing to talk about. To lose your husband on top of such problems is awful.
If you can talk, do. You are among friends here, and there are plenty of ladies around if you would prefer to speak to one of them. @Sam_Scope would be a good place to start.
