Hi @debbiecrafts, and welcome to the community. It is good to have you with us.
I'm not an authority on benefits myself, though there is plenty of expertise available through the community and some of those who know more about it will be in touch with you in due course. The weekend may possibly slow things down a touch, but we're here, wanting to help.
Admin will almost certainly move this post from 'Welcomes and Introductions' to a forum that will be of more use to you and, in the meanwhile, you might like to have a look at the PIP FAQs on this link: https://www.scope.org.uk/support/disabled-people/money/pip/faqs?_ga=2.226382623.405444417.1517054923-1832321402.1513208436
You're in a safe place here, Debbie, and among friends, so don't be shy of telling us about yourself or of asking any questions. The better we get to know each other, the more easily we may find ways to help you.
Please keep in touch,
Warmest best wishes to you,
Richard

I have experienced many psychological problems thanks to the new disability changes. Not sure how I can help but happy to lend an open ear.
