Hi, 
My name is Deirdre but my friends call me Dee. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia & bulging discs in my back in 1992 after an 18 wheeler decided to turn my car into a waltzer during rush hour on the motorway. In 1999, I was then further diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. Of course, I also suffer with a list of the other usual complaints that piggyback on Fibro but I refuse to let all of that define me.
In my heart, I am still the bubbly, adventurous, outgoing girl I was before all of this, but my body doesn't agree so it's a constant battle of wits. I guess it's lucky I'm a stubborn wee madam. I live for my two wonderful kids, my hubby & my dogs...they are my strength & my inspiration.
