Thanks for bringing some outdoors inside for me @emancherry33
Still stuck indoors, but as it's the weekend I indulged myself in a new Nome painting.
Happy Weekend!2 -

These are painting by numbers pieces that I am finishing up soon. My sister's partner asked me to do them and they are quite detailed so they've taken me sone time.
This was the first one
And this one I have just completed
I don't have a full picture of the tiger, sorry.
But now you can see why I say you can learn from PBN paintings. The tiger was a bright lemony yellow originally in all the highlights, but you don't have to do everything exactly as they tell you. Adding some earthy yellows made it look so much better.5 -
Love the paintings1

These look wonderful @MarieBarl it's tempting me to do some painting by numbers myself!1

If anyone is interested and has an address they can pick up from or don't mind me knowing- I am happy to pass them on. They are old and a little 'dinged' but have never been used - they were kind gifts but you really need only 1 copy. I don't want any money.
The pictures are A4 sized so easier to cope with than the 2 above.
I hope this doesn't break any rules.0 -
The gnome looks awesome @MarieBarl As do your PBNs. I like doing them too, and agree it's a good way to learn some skills. I particularly like the tiger one- the orange tone is beautiful!

One for @Grinchy and SFX
Ever wondered how firemen train for injuries ... they impale young paramedics (she used to make more fuss shaving her legs )

Thanks for your kind comments everyone, I have found a whole heap of them I want to tackle now.
I have also found someone who is willing to help me learn how to do portraits from photographs. That is something I would love to try again, but feels like it may be too challenging.
I have loved looking at everyone else's photos and crafting. It's helping to keep my mind off the esa assessment thing on thursday.
