@scotslad I’m sure you friend and family love having them as gifts too. I think we can all be very self critical,

I haven’t been doing much art lately but wanted to do this as it’s getting near Valentine’s Day. I’m also having the black and white cat printed onto a mug for the first time, so I’m quite excited to see how it looks.

Awesome work @Pandapaws ... I swear the eyes are following me ...
The work on the fur is brilliant.  Was it a 'smudging' technique ?
Thanks for your kind words ... I'm definitely a click click artist  :)

@scotslad ... sometimes we're our own worst critics, especially if like me you strive for 'perfection' ... but never see it because of those self doubts.  I must have seen tens of thousands of art works - trust me when I say yours are excellent.  Carving is an art and you've captured it.   First time painting ?  Imagine this time next year ...

@louise321 ... I think that is brilliant.  The colours, the images used ... the placement of those images.  It took my mind on a journey - what more can you ask for in an art piece.  Emotive is a word I'd use

sorry @glassback ... Reese sneaked in whilst I was typing ... then again i type so slow the cast of a Hollywood Blockbuster could walk in and I wouldn't notice ...

that's an awesome piece mate.  The mouth especially captured really well. Great highlights and shading.
    Very talented

hi @WelshBlue thanks so much! Some of it is blending and smudging. I’ve got some new brushes that I need to play around with too

You've got the blending off to a 'T' ... I'm rubbish with 'real life' drawing.  Ends up looking like a really freaky, creepy taxidermy project.  Human or animal.
Do you use Krita, PS or another software ?

This was made after I was accosted, and verbally abused for walking down the street wearing Doc Martens, a Harrington Jacket and stay press trousers.   Racist ignorance really does flow both ways sometimes

Original Skins were about the music and style.  Not hate

@WelshBlue that’s a fantastic piece of artwork! Im so sorry that you’ve had to deal with ignorant people! You’ve produced something beautiful out of something negative

@WelshBlue sorry I pressed too quickly! I do all my art on my iPad using procreate. It’s a great app! I bought some brushes form another artist that she created that I’m going to try out

@Pandapaws ... thanks.  I always try and take positives where I can.  People are people and not always nice with it.  Fortunately this happened a few years ago before I was 'wonky' so was able to stick up for myself.

Just the ignorance that gets to me.  I'm Welsh.  The only people we hate is each other, from other areas of Wales lol    >:)

If I remember correctly Procreate takes .abr brushes ... I don't know if this link is any use.  I get all my brushes from here https://www.brusheezy.com/free/abr?content-type-brushes=true
