I'm currently applying for medical retirement and am a civil servant. I'm now on half pay and have a letter ssp1 from work saying I need to apply for sick pay. Can anyone advise please?

Hello @tb6125 and welcome to the community. Very glad you have found us.
I'm not a benefits advisor myself, but we have plenty of people here who are either experts in the field or who have had similar experiences.
Sunday tends to be a quiet day, but if you will bear with us I am sure some of our more knowledgeable people will be in touch soon.
Warmest best wishes to you,
Richard0
