We have a strong feeling our 17 year old son has Aspergers. He's become more vocal about how this is making him feel disconnected from his peers and how he struggles in social situations. Is it worth me trying to get a formal diagnosis for him?

Hi sarah1970 Welcome to the Scope community. Yes I would definitely get a get a diagnosis for him. That way he will be able to let people know about his condition when the time is right, it should save him from having to explain himself over and over again (well that's the idea anyway).
