Hi
I have been put in the support group for esa. The letter i received from dwp doesn't mention anything about fit notes. Do I still need to hand in fit notes to the dwp?
Thanks

No fit notes are required once you have been awarded the SG or WRAG

Why do they insist on them while waiting appeal. Pigeon55

... because if you’ve been found fit for work you have no evidence of your limited capability for work from the date you lost ESA down to the date of your appeal hearing unless you have a fit note. You could win your appeal and get nothing of you didn’t have one.
