in Start here and say hello!
My name is Kate and I have joined the forum as I am looking for all the advice and support I can get to assist my 34 year old son. He has Autism and we are in the middle of a very upsetting and frustrating time due to the benefit changes. We are now at the appeal stage of PIP and the change in my son after years of good health physically and emotionally is heart breaking. Its so stressful for him.  Just want to chat to others who understand...

    Hi @katebuckman and welcome to the community! I am sorry to hear that you and your son are going through a hard time at the moment. I am sorry to hear that that you are going through the appeal stage. The community are here for you both and there will be many of our members who will be able to relate to your situation. Please do keep us up to date. Also, you may find the DLA/ PIP board, ASD and parents and carers useful :)
