Hi @aimsbudd
Welcome to our community!
Evelyn and Georgina are such beautiful names
I recently met someone who has dyslexia and she is a few months away from graduating as a nurse, I'm sure Evelyn will go on to achieve her dreams when she is older I've never heard of A-Typical Rett Syndrome, if you feel comfortable would you mind sharing information about what the condition is? If not, not to worry

Hi Ami,
Thanks for the welcome!
Evelyn will achieve anything she’s a strong little lady ?
Rett Syndrome is a big topic in our lives so it’s fine to talk about. Rett is a spectrum, rare genetic disorder with a variety of symptoms, Georgina is A-typical as she didn’t regress as a toddler which is how typical Rett presents itself, Georgina is mobile though a little unsteady, she’s non-verbal but communicates brilliantly with a combination of makaton, pointing and pulling people to what she wants, she is very determined. She suffers with epilepsy and sleep is not always high on her priority though we have found ways to help with this.
The girls are amazing together and absolutely adore reach other which helps as Evelyn helps to watch Georgina who is prone to monkey behaviour and is a bit of a Houdini so has to be watched constantly.
