Hi I'm David. I'm in a dark place because of my body is in constant chronic pain.

    Hello David, I'm NCL. Nice to meet you. 
    I do chronic pain, too - I've found it useful to learn how other people deal with things from this site. Most of all, I feel comfort knowing I'm not alone. Hope you find some companionship on this site.
