Hi. My elderly husband is nearly 97 and can't lift his arms properly through 'wear and tear' firs said. He also has a lot of shoulder pain. He can walk with a frame or stick but is unsteady and a lot weaker. He does have other problems too. Just to say hi and a bit about my husband.

Hi @skyblue59 welcome to the community!
Sorry for what you are going through, watching a loved one become weaker is heartbreaking.
How are you feeling today? We are here for you0 -

Hi. Thank u for ur replies. He has had prostate trouble for 10 years but recently it spread to his bones. He's having treatment which seems to be working. Now He cant pass water and will have to have treatment for that. He self catheterises. It's hard for him getting about and in and out or taxis. It's one thing after another.0

To improve his quality of life, if he is open to the idea, maybe a wheelchair? There are taxis which do accommodate for wheelchair users. You say he can walk with a frame or a stick so maybe s wheelchair could be used for longer distance and travel?0
