A quick thumbnail: I am disabled, from being in a car that ended up under a lorry, been in a wheelchair since; and husband’s Carer since he became ill a few years ago; first with 2 heart attacks, then cancer and several mini strokes.
My daughter died in 2016, and I help with her four children; we have had to move twice, causing problems with council tax and other complications. And I lost my PIP appeal.
Despite having a Carer each morning, I have lost my confidence, and I have not had the time or energy to make friends, or even go out much.
Due to the overwhelming stress of it all, I am at my wits end, and have had a couple of panic attacks.
So that’s my life, for the foreseeable..0 -

I lost my PIP appeal. I’m told that there’s nothing more I can do..
I think I just need a place to be able to say how things really are. I get very lonely, but have good friends who ring often. Hubby has good days, thankfully
Will have a look around, tomorrow. Off to bed, shortly.0 -
Hello @Ducklet2 Good morning. Thank you for reply.
That is what we as a community are here for. Please do.
Have a look around. Community Guide. Community house rules Something I recommend to look at in your own time. All helps.
I live on my own wake up every morning. Use the forum to help me mentally and then am not lonely.
Do have many friends here to message to and they help me through the day.
Always some one here to talk to. If not always here happy to chat to you. Be supportive.
Hope and pray you have a lovely day.
Take care.

Hi @Ducklet2
I am sorry to hear about the PIP appeal too, I hope something works out.
I recently joined this forum myself and it has been very helpful when I felt alone.
I hope it will have the same effect for you, and that things can change for the better with your PIP claim.
