If you've had a decision on a work capability assessment which was LCWRA then the extra money is paid on the 4th assessment period. UC is paid in arrears. This means your LCWRA starts in assessment period 28th September to 28th October and then the payment after that is when you'll receive the extra money and for you, this is 5th November. This payment is for the assessment period that just ended because it's paid in arrears.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

    Hello @Canovan1995
As Poppy said, you are receiving the extra element from the 28th September. The money you're paid on 5th November is the money you're owed from the 28th September - 28th October, so it is correct and there's no backdating owed I'm afraid.
