    Wow. What a welcome! Thank you all. I will be taking a little while to look through the site. 
    About me .... I'm 66 in a few days time and have been disabled for nearly 30 years. I try not to let it rule my life but when my PIP decided I wasnt disabled and took my mobility car away, I felt sort of worthless! It has taken me a couple of years to climb out of that particular hole but I am planning to reapply now and that is one thing I will be asking advice about.

    Hi @sopmarjh as you will be 66 in a few days you will need to apply for Attendance Allowance as the age limit to apply for PIP is 16-64. Hope you have a lovely birthday :)
