Ami2301 said:Hi @Connie00 welcome to the community! Would you like to tell us a bit about yourself?
A little bit about myself I have not worked for the last three years, I worked for Thomson Reuters in Andover
My Role was Manager of two departments one I in Hyderabad (India) and one team in Andover our overall role
Was to support the Business in Monies cheques and BACs payments making sure that all processes were completed correctly
I suffer from the following conditions
Chronic Asthma
Fibromyalgia
Rheumatoid Arthritis
High Blood Pressure
COPD
Hiatus Hernia
And FND (Functional Neurological Disorder)
When out and about I either use my Mobility Scooter or my Electric Wheelchair, I am often in and out of hospital either due to asthma or pneumonia.
I live constantly in pain, and I know that we are very much a disabled family, with my own conditions as well as my Nephew who lives with us and has severe Learning Disabilities it limits us what we can and can’t do.

Hi @Connie00, thank you for taking the time to share this with us. @marylouise is also new to the community and has started a discussion here about Fibromyalgia
It sounds like you have a lot to manage, are you accessing any support?0 -
hi Chloe
No I am not getting any support at the moment I have made contact with @marylouise re her Fibromyalgia0 -
Hi, sorry to hear you don't have any support at the moment @Connie00! There are charities that may be able to support you with a specific condition, like Fibromyalgia Association UK or FND Action. Also, here on the community we aim to share experiences and advice, with the chance to communicate with like-minded individuals. For your nephew, would you benefit from advice around education or employment? We hope the community can support you, and please feel free to reach out if there is anything in particular you think we may be able to help with

Hi Chloe thank you so much for taking the time to help my Nephew is pretty much covered he does get a lot of help and he goes to different agencies whereas he gets lots of different activities. I do belong to the FND and R A also along with fibromyalgia but I wouldn’t say I get any support and there are no local groups around here either0
