PIP APPEAL HEARING EXPERIENCE

Reviews take place 6 months before the award is due to end, unless the rules change before the date your award ends as that is a few years off. When you reach state pension age PIP doesn't just stop, providing you have an award it continues for as long as you remain entitled to it.

Thank @poppy123456
I've attached the assessors report from dwp to let you see something I'm confused about..namely "changed the descriptors" I've never heard of that.
The assessment was based on the original paperwork they received prior to me having to make an appeal 18montjs ago plus. This assessor didn't take in once again hearing aid or all daily help I get, she just noted some.
I feel I've been assessed on my previous assessment and only on part of this one hence the points this time.
They definitely ignored the tribunal award 4 weeks prior to this assessment.
Some are saying I should go for an MR or appeal. But like I've said to them the stress back then was way too much not just for me but for my wife. We are older now maybe not wiser but older and feel the stress isn't worth fighting for 30 pound a month which is what we lost due to the new award.
Thanks again poppy

Changed the descriptors means they've changed what you were previously awarded because they don't think you should have been awarded it based on the evidence you sent.If you disagree then your only option is the MR then Tribunal.0

This thread was started by another member, which has just continued with various questions being asked by the member that started it. It wasn't a thread started for members to tell their experiences about Tribunals. If you have any questions then please do ask by starting your own thread and i'm sure someone will be able to help you further.0

Welcome to the community @Jenner! As Poppy said, the original poster was just updating us on his old thread. You're more than welcome to make your own post. Do you know how to do that?0
